Call to order: President Dean Sprague called the meeting to order at approximately 6:45pm. 48 people were in attendance. The location was moved to the Snack Bar for this meeting.

Officer Reports:

VP David Poe—When the heat wave is over, David and others will plan some of the outings from the survey.

Treasurer Diana Makransky—The treasury has $2841.33 in it.

Membership-- Gary Shaver: There are 57 paid members for 2017. One person has prepaid for 2018. One new member has signed up online.

Publications—Corky Guenther asked for new articles for The Marque

Events—Erik Jordan .

August 11th - Waldensian FestivalStarts at 10am.Mike Outen will look into the details and get the word out.

September 10 Autolawn European Classic Car Show at the Salt Block in Hickory. 10am-3pm. Free.

September 16 Miller Airpark Fly In and Car Show Mooresville, NC

September 30 Autumn in the Mountains Hosted by the British Car Club of Western North Carolina.

September 30—MGs on the Green at Crossroads Church, 220 George W. Liles Pkwy, Concord, NC 28027 from 9am to 3pm rain or shine.

October 7—Lenoir Cruise-In 4pm Vehicles must be street legal.

Webmaster Kathy Ahrendt—Thinking about the Christmas Party already. Be ready to talk about ideas of charities for our auction proceeds .Also look around now for auction items. If you are interested in helping organize the party let Kathy know.

Old Business:

Kathy and Dave Ahrendt, Corky and Priscilla Guenther went to Akron Ohio to the JOS Central Ohio T Registry. While traveling there, they visited the Wright-Patterson Air Force Museum and highly recommended it.

Matt Young went to Kentucky and stopped in Nashville where there was a Micro Car Museum which was interesting.

New Business:

Mike Havlick presented a program on High Performance Driving.

Next month location of meeting will be determined and Dean Sprague will let everyone know.

Max Azevedo announced that he has a Bug Eye Sprite 1963 for sale.

David Barlowe announced several items for sale.

50/50 Raffle Money collected was $79.00. Guy Ervin won $40.00.
