CVBMC Meeting Minutes January 10, 2017
Call to order: President Dean Sprague called the meeting to order at 7.00 pm. 44 people were in attendance.
Officer Reports:
VP David Poe—David has a few license plates available for sale.
Treasurer Diana Makransky—Treasury has $1251.36. Recent expenses were for the Christmas Banquet and the Red Cross. Diana still has hats available if you want one.
Membership-- Gary Shaver: There are 37 paid members for 2017 so far. Gary is still accepting membership money.
Publications—Corky Guenther thanked those who had contributed article s for the Marque in 2016: Dean Sprague, Logan Keller, John Merhar, Kathy Ahrendt, David Barlowe, Ken Edgar and Erik Jordan.

WebmasterKathy Ahrendt— There was another attempted hack into our website and Kathy has put a new firewall in. She requested that members be sure to use the website because there is a lot of info available. Also Kathy is beginning another shirt order, so let her know if you want one.
Old Business:
Don’t forget to pay your dues tonight. They are $25.00 for basic membership and $36.00 with the British Marque also. Dean encouraged everyone to get the Marque also because he and Corky have to write articles for it.
Thank you to the Christmas Party committee: Bev and Dean Sprague, Kathy Ahrendt, Margie Blodgett, Bobby and Sandy Cox, David and Ann Diener, Dottie Ferguson, Clay and Loretta Rawn, Rick and Miriam and Tom and Elsie Young. Thank you especially to Dean and Bev and their grandchildren for the wonderful candy sleighs. Kathy Ahrendt passed out a survey about the Christmas Party for all to fill out and leave on the tables.
New Business:
Presentation of the check for $825.00 to Suzan Anderson of the American Red Cross. Suzan did tell us that $.93 of every dollar goes to help people in need.
Valentine’s Day Party was discussed. Ann and David Diener, Bev and Dean Sprague, Kathy Ahrendt, and Loretta and Clay Rawn are on the committee. The event will take place at Captain’s Galley.

50/50 Drawing collected by Clay Rawn and won again by Dean Sprague. The money was split $40.00/ $39.00.
For the Good of the Order—
Joe Green has a racing seat and will give it to anyone who wants it.
