CVBMC Meeting Minutes June 13, 2016

Call to order: Vice- President David Poe called the meeting to order at 6:45 pm. 30 people were in attendance. The president and others were attending the car event in Louisville, Ky.

Officer Reports:

Treasurer Diana Makransky—Treasury has $2,322.61.

Membership-- Gary Shaver: There are 67 paid members currently.

June 25 Rock Barn Country Club Euro Classic. 3791 Club House Drive Northeast,, Conover, NC 28613

September 15-18 South East British Car Festival in Dillard, Georgia.

September 24 Autumn in the Mountains at Jackson Park from 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Remember the first Saturday of the month in Lenoir there is the Lenoir Downtown Cruisers event.

Erik Jordan won a trophy at the American Car show he randomly went to. Congratulations!

Old Business:

The club license plates are here for $6.00. David Poe has them and will pass them out at the end of the meeting. Now 25 more are being ordered.

New Business:

During the Bill Baird’s Over the Hill Gang ride the group had trouble keeping together. The Raleigh Club has a protocol for touring which David Poe will hand out. There were great suggestions and David Poe discussed other suggestions like getting everyone’s phone numbers, establish a place to pull over if someone gets lost, keep everyone in view, etc.

Captain’s Galley for the July meeting.

Sam Grabenstein from Troy and Sons Distillery are offering a day trip with tasting and a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Ashville area. We will discuss this in detail at the July meeting.

50/50 Drawing collected by Clay Rawn and won by Minne Van de Klahorst. The money was spilt $32.00/$32.00.
