Saturday February 12, 2022 was a very springlike day in Western, NC.  Sun shining and above average temps in the high 60s.  Seemed like a good day to exercise the TC.  We took a back roads tour to Saluda, NC which is at the crest of the steepest Standard Gauge Main Line grade in the US.  That means the roads to get there are a good exercise for a TC.  While we were walking around town, we waved at couple passing in an MGA.  Amongst the other traffic, we also saw folks in a BMW Z3, a Honda S2000, a C7 ‘Vette and on our way down we were followed for awhile by a Jaguar XK120 and passed by several guy on bikes.  Seems like we weren’t alone in appreciating the day.
