The members of CVBMC had a great time at our October Cars & Coffee. We meet monthly at a local cafe to enjoy talking cars and eating the tasty pastries and coffee. On occasion we head out for a drive or to visit some of the many car collections there are in our area. Since our tour destination was north of town we opted for a new place to have coffee... and only 4 members showed up at the “standard” place. But they quickly realized that something was amiss and checked the website for the new location.

After some yummy food we headed to Paramount Classic Cars for a visit to one of the more interesting group of cars around. The business is a car collection/restoration shop with some consignment cars also housed in the building.

We were greeted by Ken, a member of the staff and given a brief run down on the shop. Then we were let loose to enjoy looking at all of the unique cars. They are parked in areas – cars of one maker or type – so you could get your fill of models all at once.

Part of our group headed first to the British area to take in the cars that were on display. Some very interesting cars and that prompted many discussions on colors. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see what the factories really thought British Racing Green was?

Then it was off to see all of the other displays, catch the signs and look at the racing set up. Thanks to the owners of Paramount for opening their wonderful facility to our group. After our tour many of the club members headed out to enjoy the bright sunny day with a “long way home” drive.
