Western North Carolina has become one of America’s favorite vacation destinations. People from all over the US, and overseas too, come to this region to enjoy our gentle year-round climate, the beautiful scenery, a rich culture and history, abundant recreational facilities and the friendliest people on earth!

For those wanting to drive the area, the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, the "Gateway to the Smoky Mountains," winds all through the mountains just north of our new venue in Hendersonville. It is a most spectacular way to enjoy your British car and to get a scenic overview of the region or to make your way to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Cherokee Casino or Mt. Mitchell.

Not to be missed are DuPont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest, with a combined 510,000-plus acres, both with spectacular water falls, hiking trails, picnic areas, fishing streams, camping sites and twisty, mountain roads. Many other roads throughout the region with their own “mountain magic” also await exploration.

Bring your British car or “Other European Car” or motorcycle to this beautiful area and get a taste of high country hospitality. You'll understand that a weekend in the North Carolina mountains is just not enough time here, so plan to extend your visit or make plans to come back soon. BCCWNC members are always glad to welcome British car enthusiasts to the area any time of the year.

The British Car Club of Western North Carolina and our sponsor Jaguar/Land Rover of Asheville invite you to the 16th annual Autumn in the Mountains - A British Car Gathering. We are also celebrating our 21st year since our founding in Late September in the mountains of Western North Carolina usually means beautiful fall weather and the beginning of unmatched autumn colors. This year we will be enjoying our fifth year at JACKSON PARK in historic Hendersonville, NCwhich is just off Interstate 26 and 22 miles south of Asheville. There is something for everyone in Hendersonville and the surrounding area so bring your British car or European sports car, the entire family, and enjoy Western North Carolina hospitality like never before!

The weekend's events will include scenic self-guided drives, a full day’s access to everything in Jackson Park and a participant-judged, British and European Sports car show. It just doesn’t get any better!

After fourteen great years, and thanks to the continuing growth of our event, the on-going support of our great sponsors, and the British car community, BCCWNC has surpassed $25,000 in donations to local charities. Once again this year, Meals on Wheels in Henderson and Buncombe Counties will each receive a donation from the proceeds of Autumn In The Mountains. The ability of our club to continue to support these worthy organizations is made possible only by your participation and enthusiasm for sharing the fun of owning, driving and showing your British car or motorcycle.
