British Invasion at Pinehurst

There are a number of CVBMC members planning on attending. We sent out the info on hotels but we recently heard that the close hotels are now booked. If you are going to attend, check the other towns close by for room availibility.
Here are the plans in case you missed them the first time:

If your interested in joining in the fun and want to travel down with the group you'll need to call and get lodging for the night of the May 3rd.  There are other motels available in Southern Pines N.C. which is only 4 miles or so away.

We'll be leaving on Saturday morning, and will be returning on Sunday. If you plan on attending the concours, you should make your reservations for two nights and also purchase the concours tickets in advance (see web address on our Events page).

We will leave promptly at 8:00am from "The Boxcar Grille" off of Interstate 40  (Claremont exit #135). We'll travel to Pinehurst over some great roads and plan on arriving around noon.

The MG sports cars of Bob Ravich, Dick Lunney and any others who purchased parking passes for Sunday’s British Car Corral have been invited to be a part of the Saturday “Fairway Drive” car display on the Pinehurst Golf Course prior to the afternoon “British Invasion” in the Village of Pinehurst.  The “British Invasion” component of the weekend Concours d’elegance festivities at the famous Pinehurst resort will not only include numerous British cars parked throughout the village, but also a 4:00 PM special Beatles Tribute Band concert in the Village Green Park.  All this precedes the Sunday Concours d’elegance where 119 beautiful concours cars will fill the fairways that will be used for both the Men’s and Women’s U.S. Open Golf Tournaments in June.  Look over the attachments which give you more details for the activities this coming weekend in Pinehurst.
