CVBMC Monthly Meeting

We have received word from the Harbor Inn that they will not be able to host our meeting in May.

So we've gone on to plan B. We'll be having our meeting at JDs Smokehouse in Rutherford College. It's located right off interstate 40 at exit 113. Head north off the exit, cross Rte. 70 at the light and it will be just over the hill on the right. (Just after Crosslink Church)

JD's is opening just for us for our meeting. They will be offering the following for dinner. You can choose either a pulled pork or chopped chicken plate including any two sides (Coleslaw, Potato Salad, French Fries, Fried Okra, Baked Beans, or Mac and Cheese) and choice of beverage including tea or soft drink. Total cost per person for the single meat plate will be $14.00, including taxes and gratuity. If anyone would like a combination plate with the pork and chicken, that will be available as well for the price of $19.00 per person. 

This restaurant is one of the counties newest and it is always busy. They are know for their great service and HUGE portions -- we alwayst take home leftovers. Plus great food!

But we'll need to know if you are planning on attending and what you'd like to have (both meats are wonderful... they are served without sauce so you can add any of their 4 great sauces). They will be smoking the pork just for us that day so they'd like to know how much to cook.

Come join us for our monthly meeting. We spend some time kicking tires, eating tasty food and talking all things British. Some months we have speakers, others we go for story telling and other interesting things.

We'll kick some tires at 5:30 with the food ready at 6:00. We'll have a short meeting after we've had our fill.
