I have a friend who has an amazing car collection that would like to give the British Car Club a tour. He has a farm just a mile out of Newton with two buildings full of antique cars and some antique tractors. He drives a different antique car to church every Sunday. If anyone is interested he said 10:30 Thursday the 19th is good and there is a restaurant one mile from there where we could have lunch. We could meet at the old KMart parking lot at Exit 130 on I-40 at 10 am and leave there at 10:15 for his farm.

His name is Powell Sigmon. He was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and received several medals. He sponsored one of the helicopters that was at the traveling wall in Conover this past year and they broke ground at Hart Square for an education center that he is sponsoring. He belongs the American Legion at the fairgrounds who are having a car show at the fairgrounds April 21st.
